But you are more than likely going to engage the services of a buyer's agent at some point (even if it is the REALTOR who listed the house) - even if just to finalize the contract of purchase and move to the closing table. The person will be employed; the commission will be paid out; you may as well get them on board as early as practical and benefit from their time and effort put towards your search for the home of your dreams.
